Downtown Miami aboard Seafair
17-20 January 2014
MIA to showcase visionary artists
of the 21st century
This one-of-a-kind fair gathers a carefully selected array of 30 international dealers presenting both established and emerging contemporary artists. The mission of the fair is to showcase galleries representing the most talented and visionary artists of the 21st century. Exhibitions include cutting-edge photography, painting, mixed-media, sculpture, installation and video. Amount the highlights this year are Venezuelan sculptor Rafael Barrios, recognized as one of the most revolutionary Latin American sculptors and represented by Galerie Rauchfeld of Paris, and contemporary Italian artist Lorenzo Quinn, considered one of today's leading figurative sculptors and represented by Halcyon Gallery of London.
MIA will commence aboard the luxurious SeaFair docked at Bayfront Park. Adjacent to the new Perez Art Museum and Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum in Museum Park, the fair's location in fast-growing downtown Miami sets it apart as the fair to attend.
